We hold several events each year to build community, celebrate accomplishments, enjoy student performances, and feast on delicious food. Our students and parents look forward to these events every year!
The TMA Community celebrates the advent of fall every year with our Backyard Bash, a fun-filled event featuring a variety of activities for the whole family. Event sponsorship is available.
Early Childhood Family Trip
Early Childhood families embark on a family trip for a fun fall activity. Locations visited include Fossil Rim, the Dallas World Aquarium, the Perot Museum, the Dallas Arboretum, and Cedar Hill State Park.
Elementary students conduct research on an important person of historical significance, then dress up as their historical figures and present their reports to the class.
This is TMA’s main fundraiser supporting school-wide programs and projects for both students and teachers.
Days of Service
Upper Elementary students volunteer several times a year, putting into practice lessons about giving back to the community. Locations include Tarrant Area Food Bank, Mission Arlington, local nursing homes, and our own community.
In the spring of each year, Elementary students showcase the work accomplished in their Drama Enrichment class with a dramatic performance.
3rd through 6th level Elementary students attend special trips each year. 3rd and 4th level students visit Camp Thurman for 2 school days in the spring, while 5th and 6th level students take a week-long trip to one of several camps in Texas and Arkansas.
A TMA family favorite, Spring Thing is something everyone looks forward to! Join us for a celebration of art, culture, and student exploration.
Wonderful parent volunteers devote time, energy, and creativity to organize our primary spring fundraiser, continuing the celebration of community, food, and entertainment
Performance Under the Portico & Stepping Up Ceremony
The milestone of the completion of another year of learning is celebrated in May after a wonderful student music performance.
Each May, 5th and 6th level students produce and perform a multi-act play in Latin. Students are responsible for all phases of production and serve on project teams responsible for art, technology, commercials, and marketing.
