4 Easy Steps to Admission
Our admissions team will be there for you through the entire process to answer your questions and provide all the information you need so your family can make an informed decision about whether TMA is the right choice for your child and your family. We understand that choosing the right school is an extremely important decision and we will be here to guide you through the decision-making process.
Visiting TMA will provide the opportunity for you to observe students engaged in their daily work cycle. The visit typically lasts 30 minutes to an hour and will be scheduled weekday mornings at 9:00 or 10:00 am.

Complete an Online Application and submit $300 Application Fee, which will guarantee a space in the wait pool. A 3-day classroom evaluation will be scheduled for students applying for a space in the Elementary program.
Meet with Head of School
During the 1½ hour meeting, “fit and match” between the family’s expectations for their child and TMA’s vision is explored and information about the classroom evaluation (if applicable) and a detailed tution payment schedule will be discussed.
Complete Enrollment Paperwork
Upon acceptance to TMA, the enrollment process begins with a contract being offered by the Head of School. The Application Fee becomes non-refundable after we receive your signed contract. Once all enrollment paperwork is signed and submitted, along with the first tuition payment, your enrollment is complete.
The Montessori Academy will not discriminate against any student or applicant for enrollment because of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, or disability.
The following priorities are observed in determining admission:
- Classroom space availability
- Currently enrolled students
- Siblings of currently enrolled students
- Balancing of ages and genders in each classroom
- Transfers from other Montessori schools
- Date of application
- Student evaluation
If classes are full, prospective students will be placed in a wait pool. Returning students will be given priority over new students in the wait pool. The Head of School makes the final decision regarding student enrollment and class placement. Parents will be notified regarding their child's admission status and class placement.
